Paul Nowosadko – Partner
Paul Nowosadko joined Cooney, Scully and Dowling in 1984. Mr. Nowosadko practices in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis on professional negligence defense. He has defended physicians, nurses, dentists and hospitals as well as other members of the healthcare professions both at trial and in administrative proceedings and has also defended attorneys. He also represents the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation in defense of defective highway claims and the Connecticut State Police in the defense of personal injury claims.
Mr. Nowosadko has extensive trial experience and has successfully defended professional negligence and other significant cases throughout the state trial courts. He has also successfully argued appeals before both the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court.
Professional and Civic Activities
Mr. Nowosadko is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut and Hartford County Bar Associations, the Connecticut Defense Lawyer’s Association (Director), and the Dartmouth Lawyer’s Association. He has presented educational seminars to physicians and attorneys on medical malpractice defense and other topics.
Mr. Nowosadko serves on the finance council of his parish, is a committee member of the Catholic Charities Archbishop Whealon Memorial Golf Tournament and is active in his town’s youth sports leagues. He serves on the firm’s management committee.
