Practice
Paul Nowosadko joined Cooney, Scully and Dowling
in 1984 and became a partner in the firm in 1990.
Mr. Nowosadko practices in the area of civil litigation
with an emphasis on professional negligence defense.
He has defended numerous physicians, nurses, dentists
and hospitals as well as other members of the
healthcare professions both at trial and in administrative
proceedings. He also represents the State of Connecticut
Department of Transportation in defense of defective
highway claims and the Connecticut State Police
in the defense of personal injury claims.

Experience
Mr. Nowosadko has extensive trial experience and
has successfully defended professional negligence
and other significant cases throughout the state
trial courts. He has also successfully argued
appeals before both the Connecticut Appellate
Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court.
Professional
and Civic Activities
Mr. Nowosadko is a member of the American Bar
Association, the Connecticut and Hartford County
Bar Associations, the Connecticut Defense Lawyer's
Association, the Dartmouth Lawyer's Association
and the Connecticut Society for Healthcare Risk
Management. He has presented educational seminars
to physicians and attorneys on medical malpractice
defense.
Mr. Nowosadko serves on the finance council of
his parish, is a committee member of the Catholic
Charities Archbishop Whelan Memorial Golf Tournament
and is active in his town's youth sports leagues.
